Leah started school last week, and she is having a blast! Her teachers are fabulous and we are so glad to have great teachers again this year. After a few kinks the first day, Leah has been eating and napping on her regular schedule. She even eats the school lunch now! Most days, she only eats the fruit and vegetable, but she does at least try the meat that is served. We found out today she does not like fish sticks, but at least she tried! Her back up lunch has been in her cubby since Monday, but she hasn't needed it since she's eating so well from the school lunch. Today she had peaches, corn, and a roll. Yummy!
They have started art projects already too! Yesterday she came home with paint in her hair from the art time in the morning. I actually love when she comes home dirty and grimy (not too much, but just enough) because I know she really played hard that day and didn't just sit around.
We're looking forward to a great year at school!
