This past week was spring break, so we packed up the truck and headed out to visit Leah's Nana and Grandpa in Nashville. We left around 3 in the morning, and Leah did great with that! She fell back asleep and we were already to Little Rock by the time we were ready for breakfast. We got to Nashville around 3 that afternoon, and Leah immediately wanted to check out all of the windows in the house. She loved watching the birds, bunnies and chipmunks outside.
We went to a science place with lots of hands-on things for kids to do. Leah was a little too small for most things, but she had a blast running around and watching the big kids. Here she is trying out the machine that blows air straight up so you can float balls in the air.

She liked the dinosaurs, especially when they roared. Now Leah can tell you what a dinosaur says!

Nana bought a bunch of toys for our visit, and Leah was excited to see something new to play with. She would stack up blocks, then knock them over and act completely shocked at what happened!

The tractor is one that drives when you push a button on the top. Leah would turn it on, then run away from it so it wouldn't get her.

It was dreary weather while we were there, but Nana and Leah still braved the cold and got out for some walks.

On the last day, we went to the Opryland Hotel. It's HUGE, and we knew Leah would be able to run and run. She saw this fountain, made the "shocked" face from above, and Eric decided to show her how to throw in pennies. I don't think she understood why we were throwing money in, but it was fun all the same!
For dinner, we went to a restaurant that has an aquarium running through the middle of it. All of the tables face the fish so you have lots to watch while you eat. Pretty cool concept!
