Leah finished up her Little Gym year a couple of weeks ago. She had a "show week" performance for her final class. She had worked very hard to get ready for the day, and was excited to perform for us! Grams, Uncle Matt, and Aunt Hayley came to see her too, so that was very fun!

After the warm up, the class separated into three groups. At each station, Leah was able to go through her routine all by herself! This station included doing a hand stand, forward roll, donkey kick, and monkey jump.
The next station was bars. Leah did a straddle hold, then bear crawled up the parallel bars, and finished up with a forward roll.
Finally, it was time for partner stunts. Leah worked with her partner to walk on the beam.
At the end of the class, every student received a medal, and a teacher said some kind words about each kid. Ms. Lea has been Leah's teacher since she was 18 months old, and it was so touching to hear her dote on Leah. We have a special place in our heart for Ms. Lea!

We will miss Little Gym this summer, but will hopefully be back in the fall!
Now that it's summer, I will blog more often with all of our adventures over the next 11 weeks!
