Owies

This afternoon, Leah got a little scrape while we were out playing, so we swung by the store to pick up some band-aids to make her owie "all better". We searched for Elmo band-aids (yes, that obsession has begun), but couldn't find any. She saw the Cars box, and we were sold! While this certainly isn't Leah's first owie, it is the first time for band-aids, and she was proud to show it off!

Also, I learned two things today...

1) When Leah says "potty" and points to them, she's not just mentioning them in passing. She actually has to go and will consequently pee down my front 5 minutes later. Thank goodness we were swimming, so you couldn't tell right away, but it was still not a fun experience!

2) When you teach your child to ask "What's that?", expect to hear that question asked every 15 seconds for the rest of the day.
