Trip to the Beach

Earlier this week, Eric, Leah and I loaded up the truck and headed down to Corpus Christi. It was Leah's first time to the beach, and we were ready for some relaxation by the water. Leah helped out in the hotel with the luggage rack. :)

Tuesday morning, we got all packed up and headed down to the beach. Leah was a little unsure of the waves at first, but once she learned to "freeze" when they came in and walk again after they went out, she was good to go!

Eric took Leah a little ways out in the water, but she much preferred being up on the shore.

Wednesday morning, we went out even earlier and enjoyed the beach one more time. Leah learned how to make sand castles and loved digging in the sand.

After nap time, we headed to the Texas State Aquarium so Leah could see the fish up close. This tank was full of big fish and turtles.

Leah had tons of fun running up and down this corridor. The sting rays would follow her back and forth!

We watched the dolphins underwater. Leah was "dancing" with them. :)

On our last night, we had dinner at Snoopy's. It's a really great place to eat in Corpus right on the water. It's been there forever, and it was a great way to end our vacation!
